Do you Believe in Astrology (the Stars)?

OK - well I know that the stuff they write everyday in newspapers can't really be correct for all people everywhere, but the art of astrology is a very different thing. Every time I read anyting about the sign of Taurus (my star sign) I am amazed at how accurate it is about my own personality and character traits. Stubborn, obstinate, like my food too much, suffer from sore throats and throat problems - all true! So I do believe in it - how about you?

yes. i do believe in stars and being a hindu by caste we certainly believe in astrology.

Not exactly, but I want to learn it. I want to learn it & see if it really works. I have bought some books & waiting for the summer to come so that I finish my exam & start reading those books to learn astrology.

Astrology is in fact true and a person can live their lives by astrology, but it is definately not from God and He does not tolerate it by any means. It is considered dabbling in the witchcraft world and I personally choose not to have anything to do with it. Anyone that believes in God should think twice and then think again before having anything to do with it. ;-)

Well that is an interesting response. As I am not at all religious that side of things does not bother or concern me - but it is interesting to read your comments especially as another poster here says that the Hindu religion beieves strongly in astology. Thanks for your answer.

Yes i also sometimes belive astrolgy but the predictions do not tend to be correct all the time. So one cannot belive them undoubtly.

hi im a taurian too i do belive in astrology as i know the reason behind it , since its not superstition but a study based on facts and figuers it s true and so whats the harm in beleivn in it

I agree with you. Lots of people decry astrology because they don't understahd it, and people tend to fear what they don't understand!

Hey Rosie, yes I do believe in it, there's been so much come true for me that it has to be more than coincidence or lucky guess. I'm a pisces and I have the traits of one, my daughter is definately a scorpio and my son is aquarius. When I find a newspaper I only ever read the stars but they are far too general. My cousin reads the tarot cards and they always are so close to what is going on in my life at the time it's spooky! But I don't run my life by it though, it's a sort of back up plan Ha!!

Pisces are good people! My best friend is a Pisces - we have been friends since our first day at secondary school which is a long, loooooong time ago!! My partner is definately a Scorpio (LOL!) - but so was my Mum so I am used to dealing with all those people with a sting in their tail! Thanks for posting Gina.

Actually I don't have a habit to look through that particular section of news paper. And I don't really believe in Astrology. But if somehow I can hear something bad about me, I don't feel good in my innerself. In general I don't believe.

I agree with you, the horoscopes published in the newspapers are a thing and the art of astrology is another.
I never read horoscopes, to me it would be a waste of time, instead Astrology is the most ancient art in the world and I think it deserves respect.
You can believe or not, but you can't say that it is a buffoonery and nothing else.

No, I don't believe in astrology at all. There is no way stars and the alignment of planets can or will determine how I would feel or act.
I think that the acuracy of these reports in the newspapers are quite good because they are so general. Sore throats,throat problems and the like are general ailments, and as such(especially during certain seasons), these predictions should be fairly accurate.
