What does your spouse/partner do for a living?

Why type of work does your spouse or partner do for a living?
Are the happy or would they rather be doing a different type of job?
My husband never seems happy with his job. I wonder if other people are happy or just getting by each day going to work unhappy.

My husband is a general foreman on a loading dock in a pork plant. He really hates his job but he would never find anything else that pays as good or a place that has the benifits we have.
I keep telling him to take some night classes to get out of there. He really wants to get back into the restraunt business. He really loved doing that kind of work.
I tell him to go for it but he keeps putting it off.

I know how you feel. My husband isn't happy with his job either but it's the best pay he could ever be making and the best benefits for our family.
I want him to be happy but it would be at the expense of our comfort as a family. Maybe once our son goes to college, he can start to focus on something else.
Thanks for sharing - I hope your husband is able to go back to school and do something he really likes.

My husband builds houses for a living. I am fine with it bc it is what he loves to do.

That is awesome - I wish everyone could do the job they love and enjoy. It would make alot more happy people in this world!
