the name of the girl was never mentioned in 'my sassy girl'.. but in 'windstruck', her name was yeo, which is a prelude to 'my sassy girl'

nope. windstruck is not a prelude to "my sassy girl". my korean friends told me that it's only made by the same director. gyun woo being shown there at the last part was a joke that the director put in connection with his "my sassy girl" movie. for one thing, the girl there was already 26 in windstruck then in my sassy girl she was only 23.. how could it be a prelude? so it wasn't a prelude. but was just made by the same director and of course the main character was the same as well.

nope i'm telling you this. you can ask koreans about it. it's not a prelude of windstruck. it just has the same director. he put that as a joke.

it could be and everybody claims it to be. the story of 'windstruck' in which the guy tells the girl that he'll introduce her to someone who's got a kind heart. plus the ending of windstruck seems to be the start of my sassy girl, the train scene. and the character is the same. though there might be some flaws if it was to be a prelude, i think its the plot that counts

maybe because the director want it to be mysterious or anything that will make viewers curious or something...^^

I just love that movie. The name of the actress is Ji-hyun Jun. As for the name of the girl she plays in the movie, it was never mentioned. She was always referred to as "She". Even the DVD cover says so. =) Btw, if you liked My Sassy Girl, you'll also like Windstruck. It is also a Ji-hyun Jun movie. =) Good day!

me too. I've tried to find the charatcer name of jeon ji hyeon. But I didn't find it. Maybe the director or the scriptwriter can't think of a good name for her character.

hi alpha scan! actually a korean friend of mine told me that there's no name for her there.. but i told him that there is.. try to watch the scene of her of one of her stories.. when she was in a kungfu old movie flick.. when gyun woo had a huge scar on his face and they fought using samurais or swords... they mentioned a name.. they said she became king (something) then i told him this.. he said that that was supposed to be a joke.. because the name of the king that was mentioned there was a real king in the old times in korea.. so he said that wasn't really her name.. tsk tsk.. how did they manage not to have the characters call her by her name?

The girl your refering to wouldn't be Cha Tae-hyeon who plays the crazy girlfriend or Jeon Ji-hyeon who played the sweet and disturbed girl. Hope this helps.

i watched my sassy girl over and over again! i really love that film! i think it was some kind of korean culture that's why her name wasn't mentioned ever... as of windstruck, i also watched it, and it seems to be a prelude because there are certain scenarios which is connected to sassy girl, not just Gyeon-woo appearing in the end of it. Watch it ainee82 and you be the judge, anyway it's a great film too though i like my sassy girl better. =)

yup i did.. i have a dvd here.. like i said.. i also believed it to be a prelude. but the thing is it was the way of the director to make it as such. even koreans told me that it wasn't a prelude. i think they would know better. my former student also told me this. I think i believed it to be a prelude because before i watched it people were already telling me that it was.. but when somebody gave me another idea.i watched i again.. and actually found out that the story was just similar or like connecting but the facts are different.. it's just like the korean movies-- the old boy & sympathy for lady vengeance. you will see the similarity of the movies because it was made my the same director. we must keep in mind it was done by a korean director and not a filipino. pls watch it again.
