My youngest daughter had been dating her brother's brother-in-law for almost 2 years. She broke up with him the end of October, but he continuted to stalk her. On New Year's Day, he broke into our home and dragged her outside, beating her up, until my husband went down and broke it up. When I found out about it, I called the police. The guy was picked up, but now we are the bad guys. My son has banned me from seeing my granddaughter, even though at the hearing we opted to let him plead to harrassment (a misdomenor) instead of criminal truspass (a felony and subject to 10 to 25 years in prison). I love my children very much, but this one (my youngest son) has some deep anger issues that he has carried around with him most of his life. He has married into a family that is so totally negative and always unhappy about something. Does anyone else have a similar problem with their grown children?
