To FIGHT--Is it a Right-- if you are protecting yourself?

According to law in the US, you can fight back if it is self-defense. Guess what, in the SCHOOLS where our kids go.....YOU CAN'T DEFEND yourself or you're suspended. How can that be lawful? A child has to sit there and take a beating and hope authorities help or else they get suspended too. Just happened to my son. Something is wrong with the School System. What's your opinion

its called self diffence and not a fight, but i'm really currious about the law you mention, i think you should clarify it with the school authorities in a pta meeting. it sounds to me that its not a very good policy. greetings. : )

Problem is....if only 1 parent goes forward to bring this before the board....You're labelled a pain in the rear Parent that just stirring up trouble and usually overlooked. We need several parents to come forward and stand up against this ridiculous SCHOOL RULE that isn't even Lawful. Thanks for responding.
