A set of triplets were setting around watching television. The reception was so bad they decided to throw away their television and go and get a new one. They checked their wallets and found that they all only had $10.00 each. They took their $30.00 to a second hand store. They met a salesman who told them he had a television for $30.00. They gave him their $30.00 and took the television. However, when the salesman went into the back of the store, he realized the price should have been $25.00. He ran outside to give them $5.00 back. When he realized they had each paid $10.00, he didn't want to make it confusing, so he gave them each $1.00 back and kept the other $2.00 for himself. . Ok, let's recap: . They paid $10.00 each which is $30.00. The salesman gave them back $1.00 each and kept $2.00 for himself. So ... they actually spent $9.00 each. $9.00 x 3= $27.00 The salesman kept $2.00. That's a total of $29.00. . What happened to the other dollar? . Did you find this riddle hard or easy? Did you solve this riddle? If so, do not give the answer away, but let us know you did. Thanks!

When are you going to post answer? I can't wait to see if I got it right. But since you said not to give it away there is no way of verifying my answer. :)

This riddle is an oldie but a goodie. I've seen other versions also. It cannot be sovled because it's a mathematical error when you start throwing in multiplication. There is no missing dollar: $25 - price of TV $2 - pocketed $3 - refunded equals $30
