I don't usually have surprise birthday parties or give them but this year will be a bit different. My husband turns 60 this year, our son will be home here in Australia and so we are having a surprise birthday party for him with his brother, sister-in-law and friends at his brother's place. I will have to tell him soon enough - probably about a week before the event - but the few who know about it are not saying anything. :)

How fun!!! Putting on such a party shows you really love your husband to share it with others in such a way.

Surprise birthday parties sound fun, but for me I'd rather know there's a party and be excited all day to get there.
