How did your partner propose to you?

I am single :(, never married and the list goes on...but I was wondering how all your partners decided to propose to you!
What was the proposal like?
What was your immediate response? (crying, fainting etc)
How long have you been married/united with your partner?
Thanks all, maybe someday I'll have my own story to share about this :)

When I got perposed to I had my 4 sons and I told my x that we came as a package you love me love my sons so he did and we got married in my trailor in front of the bay windows in the kitchen in nothing but towels and when the preacher said you may kiss the bride and as we were kissing we dropped our towels the preachers lip like to hit the floor ...........................................................he had on shorts and I had on a pair of shorts and a tube top ...................... I bet I had you all fooled on here LOL but it really did happen that way

The first time was in the car in front of my parents house after one in the morning. I said no, I was only 18. He said ok, I will just ask you again when you are ready. So he waited till I was 19. He proposed to me during adoration at our church by giving me a pretty letter tied with a pin ribbon. It was a bit of a poem and my ring was tied to the middle with the ribbon.

Awww..that is really sweet, 1. that he was willing to wait until you were ready, and 2. his way of proposing the second time.

Well my proposal was not very romantic. We tended to have three children around all the time. Mine as my husband has no biological children. I think he was excited he got the ring. He called me over and I sat in front of the chair and all my kids came running too. He then asked me to marry him with 3 kids hanging off us. What else could I say but yes. We have been together 10 years and married for 7 in August of this year.

my partner just asked me while i wasin the middle of eating one time, and my immediate response was laughing, also i said no, lol and im still not married, im not ready for that further step up just yet! :O)

I didnt really get proposed to. hm. it was more of a decision that we both kind of just made together. I didn't get an engagement ring, or i'm still waiting for one, lol. i'll be waiting forever probably. we just talked about it one day and decided to tell people we were engaged. and then one weekend before our daughter was born we decided to do it. and we did. and you were invited. and you couldnt make it. and i near cried over that! LOL.

My dear...I cried many tears over that. I was never so let down in my life...but if you decide to have the large wedding back home you can bet your life that I'll be there and all too happy about it.
