deschooling of the society

Hi! Some schools nowadays add to their curricula some field trips or going out (and exploring things). Being confined in a classroom is indeed not the best way to educate students. Students are also encouraged to do some community service or activities. I think that a school is still important in shaping the young mind. The classroom can also be like a small community wherein students can interact and share their experiences and knowledge (as teachers also learn from their students). Besides, there is a need to guide the young minds. As for the older students, they have a prerogative. If they feel that school isn't working for them, then they can decide on better ways to educate themselves.
