I am right there with you. I hate that. We have been married 9 years. Together 10 years, and he still puts it on wrong. Sometimes I think he does it just to aggravate me. Now our son, he is 7 has started doing the some thing. There is hope for him, he is still young and trainable.

Oh boy, am I going to get attacked for this but I do the underneath version. I feel that it is easier to rip off this way. And by the way, I do the same thing with the kitchen paper towels. LOL Go ahead, I'm ready...

You are not the only person in the world that is bothered by this. Most people really don't pay attention to how the roll is placed in the holder. The ones that do seem to be of the over the top persuasion. I put it on so as to make it come off from over the top. I used to be a janitor in a place that wanted it to come off from over the top, and I've been doing it that way ever since. It's just personal preference now. My wife doesn't really care which way it comes off, just as long as it does, and there is a new roll put on when the old one is empty.

My roommate does the same, I usually take it out and turn it around. I don't think he notices, but let's be fair guys don't notice most things.

Well actually I've thought lots about this my self. I've tested both ways and found if it comes from over the top you use more because it comes off faster, so I use the underneath method. But I also know how you feel about husbands trying to do the opposite of what you want done just to make you crazy! The thing that I would like to figure out is how do you get your teenage daughter to take the empty roll off and put the new roll on?

thats why my son sits it on the back of the toilet because the empty one is still on the holder

Over the top. It's easier to reach that way, you don't have to look for it, it's always right where you need it. My husband apparently has'nt figured out the physics of changing the toilet paper, so, I'm the only one who does it, and it goes over the top!

It's not something that really bothers me to be honest but then I tend put mine on with the toilet paper coming down the back and for some strange reason I seem to be the one that replaces the toilet roll most of the time in this house but when someone else does do it if they put it on the other way round it's not something I would get peeved about.

over the top! My pet hate is someone leaving the towel all bunched up and not straightening it before leaveing the bath room.

I have always used it coming from the back. Thats how my grandmother and my mother use it. It bothers me when my husband has it going over the top.

I'm with you! It needs to come from the front, always! My husband never paid attention and now he tries to put it from the front...or he just leaves the roll sitting on the counter until I change it. If he does it backwards I don't say anything and just change it. Its not worth fighting over but it does drive me crazy!
