When in Bangkok, visit Pratunam District, near Baiyoke Hotel...this is close to First House Hotel, a comfortable hotel where majority of its guests are Filipinos and other nationalities. Shopping would be less strenous as you don't need to worry when it's late because it is just walking distance from these two hotels; you can check in at the nearest hotels to really scour the area for accessories and clothes. We really had our hands full shopping because items for sale are generally on bargain...they are mushrooming in the streets; if you are wise, you can get better bargains in wholesale prices. Enjoy your shopping, but be careful with pickpockets as we were told there are also lots of them in that shopping district. Don't fail to visit tourist spots like Safari World, Wax Museum, Assumption Unviersity, Grand Palace, temples, etc. Good luck!

Thanks very much for your info. I went to Bangkok 2 times. Stayed at Bangkok City Inn. I think it's in Pratunam district. Yeah, I agree with you that shopping will enjoyable there because reasons you've mentioned. The 2nd time I went there alone, I already remember the roads and the places. But since I went there for business purpose I didn't went to tourist spots, maybe some other time. Thanks for sharing.

They have their own Divisoria but I can't think of the name right now. The names of the places there are hard to think of but you can get good deals by buying in bulk and trying to pay half of what they originally tell you. There's also a street where they have a lot of silver jewelry. Goodluck and have fun, I'm going there for my birthday in May. I will write down the places for you, just gotta look for them right now.

There are 2 wholesale markets that you can consider:
1. BoBae Shopping Center (Landmark- Prince Palace Hotel)
2. Pratunam Market (Landmark-Baiyoke Hotel)
However, if u are not buying in BULK then here are a few places which you might want to consider:
1. MBK
2. Siam Square
3. Chatuchak (Available on weekends only)
These places are enough to make you shop till you drop. Make sure that you take care of your health and personal belongings. Hope the info help if anything else u need just PM me.
