Can diet sodas (coke/pepsi, etc) be bad for you?

I've heard somewhere that it can cause cancer? is this true. if not, is there any ill effects of drinking diet sodas?

Any artificial sweetner has the potential for being a carcinogen (cancer-causer) because it is engineered, and not natural. I don't really know the whole science of it, but because the structure of the molecules of sweetner are a certain way, they can cause cancerous growths.

i think soda creat a gas in your stomach ,which make some reation in you but after that i dont know what will happen?????????????/
