On the fourth day of creation, God made the sun, the moon, and the stars which include whatever is there in the universe. God appointed a day of judgment where the earth and everything will be melted and gone no more. As long as God does not yet allow the judgment day to come, we including the whole universe will still exist as where the earth is now and all the components of the universe.

I believe that the last day will not yet come and so everything will still be as is for so many years more. There are still so many people who do not obey God and follow the Holy Bible.

2 or 3 billions of years... But life in Earth will not last so long, in fact, not if we don't change in a radical way ;) In fact, life on Earth will be very short from now if we don't do something...

I think it will last forever, till the end of time. There is no time in the universe, it just "is" and it always will be.
