For me the first is poor communication, inadequate partner support and lack of quality time together. If this three things been a relationship problem then you both need time to solve each problem in order to keep the love on going.

I see you are new. Welcome to myLot. Over many years of counselling couples and young people, I have found the most common problem is lack of communication. The biggest problem is that people start arguing and not listening. There doesn't seem to be as much commitment in a relationship nowadays as there was years ago, and so when the shouting starts, the division widens and the parties involved start thinking separation. Most of the couples I have counselled cannot remember the reasons for the disputes they had. They do not know WHY they argued. When they agree to sit down and talk, they find things were not as bad as they thought. Couples need to set a plan in action to avoid disputes getting out of hand.

I agree that lack of communication is a serious problem in many relationships as well as trust. I think two people need to have both of these things in order to have a healthy relationship. You have to be able to discuss things openly and not be afraid of holding things back. If you can not communicate with each other how are you going to trust that person. I am sure there have been plenty of relationships that have ended because the two people could not communicate with each other and express their feelings about various issues.
