why is the uranus tipped over and spinning backwards?

uranus is very strange place,it is tipped almost 98 degrees,with its axis of rotation very close to the orbital plane this means the north and south poles takes trun facing the turn,as the planet orbits the sun,but when planet had completed 25 percent of its orbit the sun would rise in the est and set in the east until the planet ahs acheived 50 percent of its orbit when the sun would be located at the opposite pole.truly a weird planet
