Here is a reason why we need the computers more than everything: Columbia is a supercomputer built by Silicon Graphics for NASA. The supercomputer was installed at the NASA Advanced Supercomputing facility in 2004. According to the TOP500 list, it is currently the eighth fastest computer in the world running at 51.87 teraflops, or 51.87 trillion floating point calculations per second. It is composed of twenty SGI Altix 3000 nodes each of which have 512 Intel Itanium 2 processors bringing the total number of processors to 10,240. It was named in honour of the crew of the space shuttle Columbia. The SGI Altix platform was selected due to a positive experience with Kalpana, a single Altix 512-CPU system operated by NASA Ames which was integrated into the Columbia supercomputer system. The computers are connected together with a Voltaire InfiniBand ISR 9288 288 port switch with transfer speeds of up to 10 gigabits (or 1250 megabytes) per second, 10 gigabit Ethernet and multiple 1 gigabit Ethernet nodes.

I used to manage fine without a computer but its like everything else when you have had it for a while you would miss it if it was taken from you. Its like how the hell did we cope without mobile phones cause i cant imagine how i could go a day without texting and emailing.

Internet connection gives us the exposure to the entire world and shrinks it into a global village. 3. One can work from home like mylot from computer .lol 4. Yes It is Very Difficult,Though Not Impossible, To manage Evrything Without Computers. These Are The Greatest Scientific Invention. It has Made Our Lives Easy and Convinient.

Yes I think it does. I think today computer is just like a televison set, almost all family at least have one computer, if we get a little expense get internet connection than computer allraedy become a powerfull multimedia interactive machine, computer can do almost everything we want (case and term is works), I don't see any other things that can be more usefull as computer now adays.
