SLIPKNOTor BLACKSABBATH

I'm more into Slipknot than Black Sabbath. But I don't think either can be compared with one another. They are of their own leagues. =) I liked Slipknot's Subliminal Verses album. It's awesome!

Slipknot differs from Black Sabbath way too much.. but as of today i think there are lots of young people who are only exposed to the music that MTV feeds them or rather music that is new and catches the attention o f young audiences.. so as i can see today basically slipknot reigns the metal scene for mainstream people under metal music. still there are those people who still love this classic style heavy metal thing such as the Sabbath and many more classic bands. if you ask them they would still say black sabbath is the best.. maybe you should consider explore the underground music scene and not confine ourself in just listening what is fad and what other people say that are the best. you should be the one to tell what is the best metal band for your own ears. ^^ cheers

you cant put something like this out there you make it really hard for some one to choose but i have to go with old skool it is black sabbath
