Are we too lazy to use a spoon? Food in squeeze tubes... how fat can we get?!

OK, does anyone else find issues with the way foods are being packaged for convenience? On the one hand, yes, they are convenient, but on the other, why? I love yogurt and eat it almost every day for breakfast, but I refuse to buy the squeeze tube or smoothie/drink packaging. I will eat my yogurt with a spoon thank you! If we've gotten to a point where our food has to be so convenient that we just want to open it and squeeze it in our mouths, what next... automatic feeders like pets have?? OK maybe that was a bit drastic, but if we went back to cooking our breakfasts the old fashioned way, or at least having to put some effort in it, like using a spoon, maybe we wouldn't overeat! Soups are drinkable now too, more than ever. Give me a big 'ol soup spoon any day.

I guess its all about not having time to fix meals. You got to eat on the run. Go, go, go...next thing will be a microwave in the car dashboard so you can cook your meals while waiting in traffic.

Good one. I think I heard recently on the news about a debate over whether to put refrigerators in cars!
