Have you ever watched a film that has scared you? In all the years I've watched films I have never been truly scared so do they have an effect on you or not?? And if so which ones are they??

I love scary movies. They don't scare me, I guess because I tell myself it's just a movie. I have seen some stupid ones though. Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2 were quite laughable.

I agree. They don't scare me either. I always have it in the back of my mind that it is not real.

I ALWAYS get scared by scary movies. I'm particularly bad with the Screams and Texas Chain Saw Massacre. If I’m watching a scary movie I have to have someone with me otherwise I just can’t do it. I always hide behind my hands and peek through my fingers too. I’m not sure why that is reassuring.

Well I am not a big fan of scary movies because I know that I do scare easily, and I want to preserve my sanity!! I remember when I was younger I used to go to see them a lot, just to try and be "in" with the crowd at school and not to look stupid if you know what I mean! I guess te one that scared me the most was the original "Omen". I have a total phobia about thunder and lightening, and when the priest was killed by the bolt of lightening I really didn't like it at all!
