My cousin gives me clothes she's outgrown, but the pieces are outdated or don't suit my taste. I usually tell her they're not my size, but she's getting suspicious. I don't want to pretend to like them, and then waste precious closet space on them. HELP!

Is there a way you can customise the clothes, change them with a little imagination into something you like and would wear. I had a similar problem with a mate of mine who insisted on giving me clothes so I altered them and re-made them to suit me

Definitely take them and make them into something that you would wear or use. If she asks you about them just tell them you decided to do something else with them.
You can also take them and give them to charity. If she asks just tell her you gave them to someone who could really use them. :)
