Should people go to college right after high school or take a break? Or do you think people should wait a few years?

I wish I had waited a fews years after high school before I went to college. Then I would have been ready to go. But I went right after like every body els and ended dropping out. Now I'm taking the break I should have been after highschool.

I went to college right after school. I changed my major then doubled. Now I don't know if I should take a break or keep going.

I think it depends on the person and if you already know what you what to do with your life. My two oldest children graduated from high school and neither one can decide what they want to go to school for. In the meantime, they are working and saving a percentage of their earnings so they can go to school when they are ready to.

It depends. If the person hated highschool and finished it just so he could get out of school, well, it clearly shows he/she isn't cut out for the standards of college. But if the person values education, there should be no breaks so that there won't be room for laziness.

Not a good idea to take a break then you want other break and so on the year past by without making that important decision, people should start right away.

It depends on the individual and how mature they are. Some kids who go to college right out of high school screw up because they find they have a lot more freedom than they are use to and they party to much and skip class because no one in college is going to baby you and walk you through it like they did in high school. Of course, if people take a break its harder for them to go back and if they do go back it'll be a different experience for them since the majority of people they will be starting out with will be younger than them. So it definitely depends on how the individual feels about it. Something that is not to be thought about lightly
