Starring: Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan Step Up is a movie of a young rough boy with the street moves, spends his days stealing cars Tyler Gage played by charming Channing Tatum. This movie is refreshingly free of vulgarity and really about class. This movie reminded me of "Save the Last Dance" the movie gives out the massage of social equality. If ballet and hip-hop can coexist then it may ask that why can't we all be friends regardless of color or social class? Tyler Gage is a rabel and his dreams of one day making it out of there stands between him and an unfulfilled life. Nora played by Jenna Dewan is a lucky ballet dancer attending Baltimore's ultra-elite Maryland School of the arts. Her dilemma is that the only thing standing in her way of her obviously brilliant future is finding a great dance patner for her senior showcase. Tyler has trouble with law which lands him with a community service show at Maryland School of the Arts. Tyler came to Maryland School of the Arts as an angry outsider but soon his skills as a gifted street dancer draw Nora's attention. Nora found her dance patner then sparks fly on and off stage. Tyler who never finishes anything sees this one through. He realizes he only has one performance to prove that he can step up to a life far larger than he ever imagined and dreamed of. I love this movie and have it on DVD... Get your copy now and step up to dance...
