To cut and chop chosen lengths strips of instant lawn as found on cultivations. An extra roll the strips for easy handling would be an advantage.The cutter would be mounted on the back of atractor to be driven by the power take-off and be controlled by the hydraulic system of the tractor in terms of depth , level, etc. Unit to cut strips of 500mm wide and thicknessess varying between 75mm and 150mm for LM-grass and kikuyu grass respectively. tempo of cutting should be in the range of 50m2 per hour. Size of tractors that will be used is 30 kW or more.
