Has anyone read David Icke's work?

I'm an enthusiastic learner, and therefore read just about everything I can get my hands on that will help me understand the world around me. I've been reading much of David Icke's work for the past two months and am wondering if anyone else has read his stuff, and what their take is on it. I don't agree with everything he says, but he does make some very interesting assumptions about the world around us and why we are here.
