is it worth fearing darkness

Just because it is dark does not mean that it is dangerous. I prefer the darkness as it calms me. Also, you are feeling the presence of others that are there even in the light. You feel them more strongly in the darkness because your other senses are more tuned in. If you do not fear it in the light, there is no reason to fear it in the dark.

I don't like the dark either, and that's what it is. I'm not scared OF the dark, but what might be IN it. I always feel as though someone is watching me as well, even though I know fully well that is not the case. Still it gives me the heebie jeebies.
