I know that alot of females are embarrassed by this. I have heard it so many times. I think you are right at not forcing her, if she doesnt want to, dont worry about it. After time she may change her mind.

Probably she feels ashamed but not being worried because inch by inch she will convince herself. Not force her and respect her times
