Here's a link to a site that gives you step by step instructions on changing the oil: http://www.howtodothings.com/automotive/a2022-how-to-change-your-oil.html Good luck!

DON'T TRY IT... Its not worth the ag. You will spend $10 to $12 on the oil and filter. For $10 more, a shop will do it for you, check all your fluids, air pressure, refill your window washer fluid, and some even vaccuum your car too.

under the motor is a plug (bolt) called the sump plug. Undo that and then tsake the top oil inlet cover of (where you put the oil in). Make sure you place a pan or something under the car to catch the oil. Once the oil has drain you can add fresh oil and let it run out the bottom until the oil looks clean. You may also wish to change the oil filter first.

You can look up for some advice in do-it-yourself sites like the Popular Mechanis or How Stuff Works websites. Or if you have a helpful neighbor then you can ask for help. If I were only there I could help you out. If it is too much of a hassle though, you might take your car to a car shop where mechanics can do the job for you. While there, take time to observe and ask a couple of questions and pointers so that the next time you change oils, you may be able to do it yourself.

For all the mess and the small cost, I take my car to a place to get it changed for me. That way I know the oil is being recycled properly and it was changed properly. If something goes wrong then I am not responsible, the company is.
