What is the fastest way to get myspace friends?

I am at 1700 now and was wondering how people somehow have 40k friends. Does anyone know the fastest way to get friends. I have used autoadders(doesnt work), and friend websites. Anyone else have any ideas?

I don't understand why you'd want that many friends, but maybe you can just go to all of your friends' pages and add all of their friends and keep going like that?
