if you mean the points (number in brackets) then if we respond more to others discussions then it goes up . And if our posts are deleted for some reason then it goes down . if you mean the star rating then it is decided by our activity and quality of our posts on this site .

The star rating (number on the star) goes up and down depending on how many + and - people are giving us, so when you post 'quality' and useful posts people gives you more + s and your rates go up.. it may also has something to do with how many "best responses" you receive. The number in brackets is the 'points' that states your activities in mylot it mainly goes up all of the time every time you respond to discussions or when you start an active discussion but it can go down a few points if some of your posts get deleted by mylot admin for any reason..
