this may look too materialistic and I'm afraid its happening to us. If I dont have much money to give, I'm ignored. My mom only thinks of the benefits of the money it could give her. How about you?

Yes ofcourse! Everyone does! We need it for us to buy our daily needs like foods, clothing, and to maintain our shelter! Yah it does sound so materialistic, but its the reality we need MONEY!

Hi papalsky, thanks for responding..You're right money plays a very important role in our families, in our lives. It sustains us, but it should not rule us in our hearts. Because when people only think of money as basis on how they would go through life, maybe our world will be too materialistic.

Money isn't important to my side of the family. I do not give them money, we all have our own, and it doesn't play a role in how we interact with each other - we still get along even when one of us is a little low on cash. If we are planning something that takes money and one of us doesn't have alot, then we will work around them and try to find something that costs less or nothing at all, for us to do instead. My husband's side of the family is different. My mother-in-law is always wanting us to send money to her and we only get attention from her if we have money. The rest of the time, she doesn't have much to do with us. Same with his siblings. Luckily they do not live near us and do not play a huge part in our lives on a daily basis. For my own personal family (my husband, myself and my son), of course money is important because we need it to live. If we do not have enough, it makes things difficult and we tend to be on edge with each other if we are struggling but we always pull through and make it work somehow.

Lucky you, heavenUnaware that your own family doesn't have the same situation as we do. I sometimes want to forget I belong to this family. But they're already my family that I cant do anything to change that. Thanks for the response!

Yes or least I thought it does because the money provide the family like pay the electric, water, rent, food anything that comes to mind.

it plays an important role for especially as my mom has intensive medication. in house oxygen is set-up at home, one oxygen refill would only last 24 hours so we'll have to buy a refill daily..my pay at work is big compared to your typical day jobs but with the maintenance i have right now...its not gonna be enough..

yes it plays a important role in our life but for us it is secondary, we need money to buy food, paying the bills and all that stuff. but first, the most important for us is a good communication, and a loving atmosphere at home.

Money is important. We need it to be able to buy the basic necessities of life and be able to live conveniently. Be that as it may, it is wrong to always think of it all the time as if it is tne most important thing. There are more important things in life than money.
