Hi Guys! Nice to find some dog lovers around here. I have three dogs at the moment. I used to have five of them but the two died of old age. of the three dogs i have right now, one is very temperamental. He used to be such a sweet thing but lately, he had become rather grumpy. I don't know what's got into him but he snaps at almost everybody and anything. He is rather a big dog so people really gets scared of him. He is vaccinated of course but he does have a rather large mouth and he could overpower a person if he wants to. The vet here told me i should put him in a cage. I hate to put him in a cage. What should i do with him?

I have a female dog . She is pure German Shepherd and is about 2 years old and she is very very moody about eating. She wont eat many things and she has to be hand fed.. She wont eat dog food or fruits . She likes pea nuts and ofcourse chicken and i tried it not to hand feed her but she remained hungry for two days and then ate only when she again was hand fed... and yes sometimes rarely she would eat herself but thats once a month or so only when she i s in mood to eat herself which is rarest of rare.

I think you should just isolate him from people for now. Putting him in a cage will just make things worse. My dog is temperamental too but in a sense that he just won't respond to me. I think you should worry for the people he might harm for now. Always keep your gates closed and put a warning sign about a dog in your house.
