Have you been to the Detroit Electronic Music Festival?

Every year, during Memorial day weekend, the birthplace of Detroit holds the Electronic music festival. Its three day festival held in Hart Plaza which sits on the Detroit River, in the heart of downtown Detroit. Its been going since 2000. All kind of electronic artists (and hip hop artists) play at it including: Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Slam, Rolando, Derrick May, Peanut Butter Wolf, Mos Def, Speedy J, Chris Leibing and more.

I've actually never been! I'm the only person I know who hasn't gone. I was going to go today, but it's kind of rainy out, so I'm going shopping instead. :) If you go, tell me how it is!

It was pretty good this year. Smaller than previous years. My boyfriend and I had a great time as always. Thanks for your response.

I've from Chicago and as you know they have many festivale, but I am going to keep my eye open for this one next year. Thanks.
