casting

i do not think it could have happened but does any one think they could have done better on casting the parts??? honestly there is no akasha with out aaliyah and there is no lestat with out stewart townsend.. any opinions?

well...aaliyah really has done good with the parts...and lestat too was awesome(i mean...attractive...lol)....except for the thing that they never introduced some main characters.....only maharet and marius and david...well....i hope if they'll make another one...it'd better be better than this one/....but i really like stuart townsend to be lestat

it think the casting was very good.
yes Lestat wasn't blonde but Stuart's preformance was very good.
I also like Aaliyah,she was good as Akasha.
I actually preffer the movie Akasha more because people from Egypt and Nubia arren't white (yes in the books she's white because she's a vampire but still).
