While listening to a interview with one of the actress... she replied saying i dont mind white lies when asked about people who would lie to her......... Can anyone tell me what it really means

A white lie is a lie told to spare someone's feelings. Like if you see a friend in a really ugly dress but she's very proud of it and thinks it looks great, you might say that yes, it does look great, or the color really brings out her eyes, or something like that.
