tags - do you even bother fill that up

as we can notice, mylot has been requiring us to give tags to the discussions , ,
it's ok that they ask the topic starters to put tags to their own discussions , , but for the respondents , , is it really necessary?
i mean , , all this time here in mylot , , i have been noticing that , , there is a possibility that i put one tag that is the same with what other respondents would put, ,
do you even bother put tags? , ,
and one more thing, , do they add up to our earnings? , ,
just a question out of curiousity

That's a very good question... yes i do try to put tags on a discussion. Sometimes i come across things and i don't know how to tag them.

I rarely bother with the tags when I start a discussion. I guess for some people to organize them it is important but for me I just skip the tags

i generally dont put tags unless i find something easy to put. Some reponses are difficult to classify so i feel im better off not adding anything

yeah, i agree. i also found it difficult to classify and i'm afraid someone has already put that tag and i've wasted time.

I do it sometimes, I don't think it helps with earnings, but it helps people find what they're looking for easier. You respond to a discussion about.. quitting smoking, so you tag it smoking, quitting.. and someone can find it if they want to look for something about smoking.

I dont think tags add on to our earnings. And i feel that most of the times the person who started the discussion has already covered most of the tags possible. Im just repeating the tags!

yeah i do put some tags on every discussions and responses i made...it help a lot in classifying topics having similar in nature it act as or similar to a footnote...i dont know if our earnings will add up if we put a tag on it...but we must put a tag ok... its necessary though...

someone here said it also adds to our earnings. since it takes a bit of time only to write tags, i write it too. But mylot doesnt require it. its up to you if you want it. but i still put tags.

USUALLY IN MOST TIMES I ALSO SKIP TAGS ....IT DOESNT INCREASE UR EARNINGS THATS FOR SURE ..IT IS THAT TAGS HELP U IN FINDING DISCUSSIONS THATS IT ...VERY GOOD OBSERAVTION FRM THAT ....GOOD AMAINE

i get confused with the tagging..when i am starry eyed i bung everything anywhere..ihad 260 messgaes in my inbox thismorning and still counting lol..the tagging delys me..

The tag section really slowed down my time for giving more responses to others. Usually, i would just leave it, knowing that most tags have been put by the poster himself, or herself. I feel that it not only loads slower for me, but it kind of hinder my posting speed. With my limited time of 1-2 hours per day in myLot, i hope that admin would set a preference of allowing us to give tags, or not to give tags, that would be fantastic. Don't you think so?

I like putting tags, because it allows me to see if anyone else has posted a similar discussion. Plus, it also allows me to reply to these other discussions with my own opinions.

I'm confuse about these tags, I usually always give a tags the same with the subject, but sometimes I also didn't give a tags. I think tags didn't give you any earning since it's to little sentence to be count, but for the case we don't know the exact rule how we get earn really from, it will be better if tags evertime we post a response or making a opinion post.

I never do the tags as a matter of fact i posted a discussion earlier asking for help to understand what it was for. I didn't get many responses and im still not sure why they are there for. But i dont see how they could boost your earnings. I just keep on skipping them until i understand them one day.

Yes I always enter some or the other tag. But I do confirm to ur thoughts. The same tags may be repeated over and over again.Initially i thought, assighning tags increases payment for that response. I guess its not so!!
