I have been suffering from this awful illness for a year now. It started after tonsillitis and I have numerous dreadful symptoms, eg. extreme weakness, heavy limbs, sore throats, feeling very unwell most of the time. I also can't walk far and my balance is sometimes affected too. Does anyone suffer from this. I would love to hear how other people cope with this.

I feel for you, because I have been there. I was able to get well through attracting the kinds of things anyone who ever got well with CFS had done - into my life, and I am working part time as a caregiver for the disabled and elderly, health coaching a second online friend (the first one got well due in part to our time together), working on building a website "The Wisdom of Abundance", spending lots of time on myLot networking for making the legitimate money website, soon to be training for medical transcription for a scholarship that I won, and in the summers bicycling and rollerblading as well as helping a friend sort things from his mother's estate. I am available as a resource to share the ways I found to get well if you are interested. This started me off on writing down the ways that would help you with what I know, and finally it got so long I put it in Microsoft Word and deleted from here all but the pargraph above. If I put it on my website are you interested in the link? It's becoming something that I want to share other places, as well as share with my doctors on the things it took to fix me.

Thank you for your reply. Please could you give me your website link and I will take a look. I have read countless books on chronic fatigue and am seeing an infectious diseases specialist but it really is just a matter of time like when I first got the illness over 17 years ago.

I know of a Dr. R. Perrin (it's not Regginald, but can't remember what the R is for) who practices in Prestwich, Manchester who is pioneering some methods for helping people like you. His methods have already been taken up by practicioners in other countries and are having good results from what I can gather. I know very well one person who has regular treatment using his methods and has found it to be very useful.

Thank you so much for replying and giving me this information. I will certainly make enquiries into this. I am seeing an infectious diseases specialist at the moment who is of some help but certainly can't offer any cure.

There is a solution for cronic fatigue syndrom. It was found already in 1958 when the scientists tried different sorts of treatment to help those who suffered from it. They had tried both vitamines and minerals without results. Then they added the special oils that are lacking in the food we buy in the shops. They got wonderful results. People started getting healthier again. That time they composed a food supplement that is still in use. In year 2003 two men got the Nobel Prize for explaining how these oils work in our cells. But almost 50 years ago it was already known *that* they work. Now we know *how* they work. There is so much information about these things that it is impossible to write it here. Either you could go to my website and check the information there or you could become a friend here at myLot and I could give you my email address. I would be delighted to help you and everyone who suffers from cronic fatigue syndrom.

I suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome and have for 7 1/2 years now. It has just caused me to drop out of university, which caused a lot of stress, which inevitably made it worse. I am not severely affected though, which i suppose is a blessing, I can pretty much hold down a part time job, although the day after i work i am completely useless!

Thank you for your comment. I am glad that you are not too severely affected with this dreadful illness. I have been really ill for a year now and every day is bad. I keep positive though and hope as the year progresses I will feel a bit better. The thing that makes me mad is that people just think you are a bit tired with this illness. They are so unaware of how ill it makes you feel and all the other symptoms, eg.severe weakness, muscle pain, breathing problems etc etc. you get with this. Anyway, I hope you keep improving.
