In the news recently there has been a new government idea to give jail sentences to parents who's kids don't go to school. Do you think this is right? I personally don't as my younger sister sometimes just refuses to go and there is little my parents can do about it- its not like they can psyhically force her. Its not their fault in any way.

These days with hard working parents, they might not know that their child isn't going to school.I don't see how putting the parents in jail will make their children go to school?

Well, I think that would be mean of them to force a thing like that. You are right, you can't force children to go to school if they don't want to. You can ask and beg all you want, they'll probably make you think they are going to school, but they will go wherever else but school.
