Consignment Shops

The ministry I am involved in is looking into aquiring a consignment shop. I was wondering if anyone has any information on them, from a business owners point of view. Do you have any tips, Ideas on what would qualities a good consignment shop should have? Thanks in advance!

Accept only gently used items. Make sure the clothing is freshly washed and pressed, and hung nicely on a hanger or folder neat. Make the customers feel welcomed. Offer bag sales throughout the year. Make sure the store itself is clean. Price items so people don't want to walk away. If you are doing clothing and such, look for lots on eBay. Good luck!
