1977 mopar motorhome how to lift it

hay, i have a 1977 motorhome and despritly need tolift it about 8-12 inches or more. i cant find a kit and i do think i canmaybe make something but i was thinking of putting a shackel on the front and reer (leaf springs) but the reer has the shackel facing up, if I took it off and made one that will go down would that work without causing damage
