why is it that users below 500 points cant copy and paste anything on mylot?

i tried to copy and paste a disscussions that i was typin up in microsoft word because i thought of it while doing something else... and i tried to cpoy and paste it and mylot would let me do it.. why?

I believe that they did this to stop rampant plagarization. I guess they figure that if you survive until 500 without plagarizing then you're less likely to start. Also I think they had people seting up ID's and copying spam in.
