Can't say I've ever done that. When I was in high school, though, I had a friend who dipped her fries into a chocolate milkshake or a dish of ice cream. I used to tease her and give her that "yuck" look whenever she did it. But one night curiousity got the best of me and I tried it, and it was actually kind of good. Then again, I once dipped a Dorito in chocolate ice cream and ate that too.

It's disgusting to say the least. I had afriend that used to dip bread in his tea, infact he used to dip everything into his tea, Shotbread,Donuts evrything. I think it's just unsightly, and there is absolutely no pleasure, i can imagine they will derive form such disgusting habits.

I have never done that before, that just sounds gross to me. But, if that's what they like, then good for them.

We dip our french fries in milkshakes. The sugar and salt make a great contrast. We don't get to do this alot since we don't eat out a whole lot and we bake our french fries at home. Never heard of dipping in coffee or tea or pop!?

No. I don't really eat fries anymore but usually would only dip them in ketchup or cheese sauce.

wow, that's bizarre. though, my family (not me though) likes to dip fries into their chocolate milkshakes. but the appeal there is obviously sweet from the milkshake and salty from the fries which is normally a great combo.

I can't say I've ever had french fries and cola, but I am a fan of salt and vinegar crisps dipped in strawberry yoghurt. I read somewhere that craving sweet and savoury foods together like that, is a sign of some deficiency, but as far as I can see, it just tastes good!

I don't dip them in drinks, but I do like to dip them in maple syrup which I know sounds a bit weird. I like the sweet-n-salty combination. I also dip pretzels in soft serve frozen yogurt for a similar taste contrast.
