Actually in most libraries that I have been to it is under the reference section, religious category. The same for all books relating to any religion, whether that is Christianity, Hinduism, Muslim, Jewish or whatever.

Heh, good question. In my nearest library, the bibles are located among other books about religion and spirituality, and those are in the non-fiction section.

The bible is always filed in public libraries in non-fiction accoring to the dewey decimal system and typically found in the lower 200's, along with other holy texts such as the Koran.
