Is it possible to be too frugal?

Being a stay at home mom, I have had to learn to budget everything. I have been going to the library and internet to study frugalism. I don't want to be cheap, just frugal. The other day, I was thinking about the end of the deodorant stick that gets stuck in the plastic and if there was a way to save it. Is that being ridiculously frugal or does it go back to my conserving nature of waste nothing?

It's all about return-on-investment, be it money or time. My late, great grandmother gave me advice that I still use to this day: "The best way to double your money is to fold it in half and stick back in your pocket." -Kevin

They should make it so you could take it out then use it in some way. I do not know of a way to use it unless you dug it out and used it from your hand. Being frugal is really great! A lot of great inventions have been made from people being frugal. So, who knows you may get very rich from an awesome invention.
