When I became a parent I had this checklist of things that I believed were vitally important. My list contained things like finding a good family doctor, living in a family friendly neighborhood and having a savings account to start saving for those inevitable emergencies. I was suprised to see that many people including my husband at the time did not think that life insurance was necessary!! Now that my husband is a business owner he sees the benefits and that planning for the unexpected things in life and protecting your family in the event of his passing would ensure the security of his wife and children. What do you think parents do you think life insurance is important or a waste of money?

I'm not a parent yet but since we are trying to have babies, we do believe we need life insurance. Life is too hard for one person to be single parent, if we die, we want to make sure our loved ones will be able to take care of their responsibilities (and ours).
