Does having multiple tags help with the number of responses you get?

Being new to the myLot, I was wondering if adding multiple tags helps with how many responses you will receive.

Yes, the more tags you add that purtain to the discussion the more people will find your discussion.

I'm fairly new but I have noticed that when I add more tags to a topic I get more replies as it shows up in more searches. You can add what everyou like to your interests section, sometimes that will get hits too if there are no listings for things. That's how I find others that are into the same music and movies that I'm into.
