I have Junior troop #838 from Moccasin Bend Council in East Tennessee. They are 4,5,and 6th grades. I only have 3 from 4th grade and they the same age as the rest except one. I have 23 registered, but only have 12 or so each week. There is another troop of Juniors #58 that is all 4th plus one 6th grader, I also help that leader when she needs help. I am also assist. leader to a Cadette troop #191. There are only 4 of them. We are not allowed to have one troop with different levels. There was a troop of Cadettes and Seniors but made them split and have two #'s and 2 accounts at the bank. Are you about to go through some consolidation of councils? We will in 2008. And our levels will change in Oct. 2007 we will be K&1st-Daisies (They will able to sell cookies!) 2&3 -Brownies 4th,5th&&6th- Juniors 7th&8th-Cadettes 9th 10th-Seniors 11th& 12th- Ambassadors There are many changes headed our way.

That is very interesting about the upcoming changes to the ranks in your area. So far, we have not heard anything about changes like that happening here in Michigan but who knows it could eventually happen. Recently, there was some councils in Michigan that went through some minor changes but I think that was because there was one council that was really big (area wise) and the councils around it were very small.

Ours is not very big I don't think so we are merging to another. Do you have the Studio 2B? for ages 12-18?

Yes, tammyr, we do have the Studio 2B program also. All of the girls in my troop except one are eligible to participate because they are between 11 and 18.

I am a leader of 4th,9th,and 11th grade girls. We are with Greater St. Louis and I believe we owe our success to our senior girls. The younger ones really look up to them. We love taking trips, earning badges, making swaps, and camping.
