jsut wondering since im getting myself lost, exactly how this thing works, do you get paid for replying to discussions and stating post??? is that all are am i totally getting this thing out of porportion,lol

Welcome Mariah! Although it isn't anything you can "live off of", many of us come here since we would be networking and discussing things with others online anyway...so why not get a little something for it?
Sometimes MyLot has fun contests in which you can win payments, etc. I was surprised to have 3 of my banners chosen for a recent banner design contest. It was really fun!
Also, you can refer others to MyLot and earn a little for that too.
