We are gathered here at this hour to witness and celebrate the drawing together of two separate lives. We have come together so this man, Edward F, and this woman Toni O, may be joined together. Marriage is not to be entered into lightly, but with certainty, mutual respect, and a sense of reverence, such a union can only be created by loving purpose, abiding will and human feelings and intentions. In this spirit these two people stand before us. . Edward, do you now take Toni to be your wife, to share your life with her and do you pledge that you will love, honor and care for her in all the circumstances which life may bring to you? I do. . Toni, do you now take Edward to be your husband, to share your life with him and do you pledge that you will love, honor and care for him in all the circumstances which life may bring to you? I do. . I Edward take you Toni to be my wife. I promise you that in good and in want, in health and in sickness, in joy and in sorrow, I will love you, trust you, cherish you and be faithful to you and be your devoted husband. . I Toni take you Edward to be my husband. I promise you that in good and in want, in health and in sickness, in joy and in sorrow, I will love you, trust you, cherish you and be faithful to you and be your devoted wife. . Edward: I place this ring on your finger as a token of my love, as a symbol of the joining of our lives together and of the marriage vows which we have spoken together. . Toni: I place this ring on your finger as a token of my love, as a symbol of the joining of our lives together and of the marriage vows which we have spoken together. . In as much as Edward and Toni have joined hands and taken vows of marriage together and have pronounced their desire to be husband and wife, by the authority invested in me, I now pronounce you married. You may kiss the bride.
