Church sign

Recently on ninemsn they conducted a poll as usual. Some church had posted the sign "JESUS LOVES OSAMA" on a large billboard with a green and brown camouflage background. The prime minister of our country was not happy about it. The poll asked the question "Was the church doing the right thing?" It's a "Yes" or "No" answer. I was a bit shocked to discover that a big majority of people voted "No". I reckon it was fabulous. LOL. Jesus loves everyone - right? He just doesn't love when we break his rules. What would you have voted. How do you see this?

No doubt about it I would have voted Yes! I may not like what this man has done but I am sure there are a lot of people who don't like things I've done either. Doesn't matter, Jesus does love us - all of us, not just this one or that one.

You are so right. However, when I last looked a couple of hours ago the 'Yes' vote was 40,000+ the 'No' vote was 166,000+ I wonder what is motivating people to vote the way they are voting.

I would vote no. Sure, they have a right to say, and sure, they may believe it's true. But for people who have lost loved ones to his terrorism, it is insensitive. I would think a church would have a bit more compassion toward his victims.

To be honest my first reaction was "wouldn't that get up his nose if he saw it". I totally see your point of view. I'm wondering now what was behind their idea of creating this sign.
