I usually celebrate my birthday with my family. Although I have recently moved away so its usually the nearest weekend to it that we all get together. I'm not sure we would do this except that its my sisters birthday too so we have a double celebration. Usually my mum cooks a nice roast and we just get together and chat.

if my birthday comes on a weekday.. i celebrate it seperatly.. cause i can spent that and celebrate it at home wiht all the family. and ask friends to just celebrate the nearest weekend possible. but if it falls, weekends.. i rather do the celebration once.. haha less cheaper. more happier!

I celebrated my birthday with my mom and sisters. They came over to my house and surprised me with a meal and presents! In the past we would celebrate, me and my husband in the same day doing a barbecue. This year he was celebrated with cake and kentucky fried chicken for dinner!

Every year for my birthday, my husband bakes me a cake, from scratch, from my Grandmother's recipe. Sometimes we share it with friends, sometimes just our family, but there is always my favorite cake waiting for me! It's the only thing he cooks, so we usually go out for dinner--it's coming up in a couple weeks, and this year I'm thinking lobster--then come home and have the cake for dessert.
